WWE 2K26: Child Accounts and Age Permissions

PUBLISHED:
UPDATED:

Setting up WWE 2K26 will involve adding your age to your 2K Account if you have not already handled this. We have the article 2K Account: Parent/Child 2K Accounts Guide that will guide you through the finer points of this process.

Each game has different restrictions based on the age of the player and the age rules in their region, drawn from the 2K Account information. For WWE 2K26, the parent will be able to address the following permissions:

  • Play online with others
    • The Island, MyFACTION, etc.
    • For XBOX players, if you enable this permission on your 2K account but have it disabled on your XBOX account, the error you will receive will be "To do this, change a setting. You cannot see content other people make because of how your account is set up. Your parent can customize your XBOX privacy settings for your profile in Settings > Account > Family settings > Manage family members."
  • Voice Chat
  • Community Creations access
    • This includes sharing your content or accessing content shared by other players

Note: If your account is underage for your region, even with parental permissions, you won't be able to access the in-game store for purchases of VC (Virtual Currency).

If you only have no network connection and cannot link your 2K Account or are electing to use offline mode available for Nintendo Switch 2, your account will be restricted to certain offline single-player game modes. Offline modes include creating general custom content like Superstars, PlayNow, MyUNIVERSE, and MyRISE except for The Island.
