The Island: Who’s Online Friends List Doesn’t Update Properly
The online status of the friends listed in Who’s Online menu doesn’t update in real time. It will only be updated after transitioning into either landmarks or matches.

This issue should be fixed as of Patch 1.07 released 4/9/25.
