The Island: Items Appear Owned But Don't Unlock
If players purchase items too fast, the store menu will say it's "Owned" but will remain locked when trying to equip it. The player will no longer be able to purchase or equip the affected item.
Note: VC is not removed from the player's balance when this happens.
Workaround: Purchase the item with a superstar of the opposite gender.
